Are you ready to see another murderous adventure with Freddy Fazbear?

According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, the sequel of Five Nights at Freddy is confirmed for a release date in December 2025

It is set to be directed and will be produced again by Jason Blum and Scott Cawthon—who created the video game that inspired the film.

The plot and the cast are yet to be unveiled, but it teased a new tagline: “Anyone can survive five nights. This time, there will be no second chances,” as per Variety.

Other horror films released next year include The Woman in the Yard for March 2025 and Drop set in April 2025.

They also announced the release dates for Megan 2.0 in May and The Black Phone 2 in June next year.

Five Nights at Freddy's is a survival horror game focusing on murderous animatronics. The first game, released in 2014, follows a point-and-click element and revolves around a night shift security guard who must stay alive for six hours from the four animatronics bent on killing him: Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy.

It spawned nine main game franchises and five spin-off games. It has also been adapted into several books and graphic novels. Its first film adaptation was released in October 2023 and starred Josh Hutcherson, Piper Rubio, Matthew Lillard, and Elizabeth Lail, among others.
