Get your pizza fresh from Argyle: Surfer Boy Pizza number in 'Stranger Things' actually works
Anyone in the mood for some Surfer Boy Pizza? You can order and speak directly to Argyle himself.
Netflix viewers have discovered that if you call the number on the delivery van for Surfer Boy Pizza in Stranger Things, new cast member Argyle actually answers and leaves you a message.
The number, 805-45-PIZZA, written across the retro yellow van in the series leads callers to an automated message from the show’s resident long-haired pizza dude Argyle, portrayed by American comedic actor Eduardo Franco.
A user on TikTok shared a clip online with the message left when dialing the number.

After dialing the number, Argyle picks up and says: “Surfer Boy Pizza, this is Argyle speaking. We make everything fresh here at Surfer Boy, except for our pineapple which comes from a can, but I still recommend slapping some juicy pineapple on. Oh, fruit on your pizza is gnarly you say? Well I say try before you deny!”
Callers have to dial 805-45-PIZZA, and spell “PIZZA” out numerically on the keyboard.
Twitter users have also tried dialling the number, and shared their reactions online.
“OHH MY GOD, FINALLY! a tv show actually DID something with the phone number they used,” one said. “If it’s busy, call again!”

The cool marketing ploy is a great use of a phone number that actually ties with a Netflix series. For those based in the Philippines trying to call Surfer’s Boy Pizza, take note that International Direct Dialing (IDD) rates may apply.
In 2021, the mysterious telephone number that appeared on the business cards in the hit Korean survival drama series Squid Game, turned out to be real, but had nothing to do with the show. The Korean owner of the matching phone number ended up being bombarded with thousands of calls, prompting a political candidate to offer the owner US$85,000 for the number, according to news reports.
In pizza-related news, Netflix has teamed up with Walmart to actually create the frozen pizza inspired by Argyle's local pizza-place gig. Foodie fans have four topping options to choose from including Supreme, Multi-Meat, Pepperoni, and Pineapple Jalapeño. The pizza, which costs $7 each, comes in red-and-white branded boxes that look identical to those seen in the Netflix series.
Last year, Walmart also released a limited edition retro Stranger Things Crosley audio cassette player that featured a hidden clue for season 4 as part of their marketing and merchandising tie-in to promote the series.
To complete your Surfer Boy ensemble, hardcore fans can even get authentic '80s surf style outfits inspired by the series with the recently released Quicksilver x Stranger Things collection, including Argyle’s signature yellow Surfer Boy T-shirt, visor and beach elastic waist shorts.
Hold onto your butts, brochachos, the Surfer Boy Pizza collection serves up the same looks worn by Argyle in Stranger Things 4 plus fresh takes on our Original Arch boardshorts and more.https://t.co/mBFlhBilow
