Sorry, concertgoers: Wanderland 2026 isn't happening this year

Wanderland won't be holding a music and arts festival this year.

The team behind the festival announced on March 17 that the weekend concerts won't be happening this 2026.

The organizers didn't give a reason behind this, but guaranteed Wanderers, or concertgoers, that it would return again someday.

"For a decade, March has always been our time to wander together. By the time January rolled in, our team would already be swept up, living and breathing every little detail for Wanderland. And for you, it was something to look forward to: the start of summer where you and your friends reunited to continue yearly traditions," they said.

"[While] we choose to dim the W light, we want to highlight that Wanderland has always been more than a music festival—it was you, our Wanderland Community, that made every edition special...Like many Wanderlands before, there will always be a next one... This one's just going to take a little bit longer."

The first Wanderland festival was held in May 2013 with The Temper Trap, Neon Trees, Nada Surf, Avalanche City, Colour Coding, and Tully on Tully as headliners. Since then, yearly festivals have been held, except for 2020 to 2022 amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Over the years, the festival saw some of the biggest names in music as headliners, including Kid Cudi, Kodaline, Daniel Caesar, Lauv, Two Door Cinema Club, HONNE, Carly Rae Jepsen, Jack Johnson, Thundercat, Bon Iver, Death Cab for Cutie, and more.

Apart from international names, the music and arts festival also highlighted local acts like Reese Lansangan, Ben&Ben, IV of Spades, The Ridleys, Lola Amour, and Dilaw, among others.

Meanwhile, its organizer, Karpos Multimedia, is still working on shows like HONNE's upcoming three-day concert in Manila.
