Coquette: Nintendo is releasing limited edition pastel pink Joy-Cons for the Switch
Attention, lovers of everything pink!
Nintendo has announced a new pair of Joy-Cons that come in pastel pink, released in time for the Princess Peach: Showtime game.
This isn't the gaming giant's first pastel pink controller as in 2023, a pink left Joy-Con came together with a pastel yellow one. Alongside the colorways, a pastel purple and mint green pair was also introduced.
According to Nintendo, these rose-hued controllers are available only for a limited time at select retailers beginning March 22. The online store of the brand lists the pink Joy-Cons for $79.99 (around P4,500)—about the same price as other colors. There's no news yet, too, if they'll be available in the Philippines.
ICYDK, the detachable controllers come with control sticks, d-pads, buttons, shoulder triggers, motion controls, and HD rumble. They can be attached to the Switched for portable use and detached when there are more players.
Princess Peach: Showtime, a Super Mario spinoff exclusively available on the Nintendo Switch, will drop on March 22. The upcoming platformer will see Princess Peach as the main character instead of just the damsel in distress. In addition to her usual royalty getup, the titular character will transform into Swordfighter Peach, Detective Peach, Patissier Peach, Kung Fu Peach, Ninja Peach, and Cowgirl Peach.
