LOOK: Nintendo to open a pop-up store in Singapore
You might want to allot a budget for shopping the next time you go to Singapore because Nintendo is coming to the Lion City!
The Japanese multinational video game company announced its first pop-up store in Singapore, which will be located at the Jewel Changi Airport. It will be open from Nov. 17 to Jan. 1, 2024.
On its website, Nintendo shared pictures of the collections, which include items created specifically for the branch.
The store will also feature merchandise from video games like Super Mario, Animal Crossing, The Legend of Zelda, Splatoon, and Pikmin, which were previously only available at Nintendo TOKYO, Nintendo shop, and Nintendo KYOTO stores.
Expect to see items for the house like Super Mario mugs, plates, and bowls; Animal Crossing pots, kettle, and food scale; to Splatoon towels and apparel.
According to the announcement, “more original merchandise items will be unveiled closer to the opening date.”
There will also be Singapore Special Postcards with landscapes of the country’s famous tourist spots.
Nintendo is known for its video games such as Mario, Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Pokémon, and more.
