RuPaul’s Drag Race 'Werq the World Tour' is coming to the Philippines this April
Ready your engines, RuPaul’s Drag Race “Werq the World Tour” is coming to Manila and Cebu this April.
Concert promoter Wilbros Live announced that several iconic drag queens from the show will hit the stage at the Araneta Coliseum and Waterfront Hotel Cebu on April 29 and 30, respectively. So far, this is their only stop in Asia.
Sasha Velour will host the event, while Derrick Barry, Jaida Essence Hall, Jorgeous, Roxxxy Andrews, Vanessa Vanjie, and an all-star line-up featuring Drag Race PH queens will grace the show.
“WERQ THE WORLD, the largest drag show on earth, is celebrated for its elaborate themes and stunning production quality. This year, audiences are invited to relive iconic moments from award show history in an intimate setting. This fresh production honors classic drag and the art of impersonation, delivering an experience that rivals a front-row seat at the Grammys,” the show's producer, Brandon Voss, said.
Tickets range from P1,300 to P6,800 for the Manila show and will be available for sale via TicketNet.com.ph.
Meanwhile, tickets for the Cebu show are available via SMTickets.com. They cost P2,100 for Balcony, P3,200 for Silver, P4,800 for Gold, and P5,800 for VIP.
