BTS’ V shatters two Guinness World Records titles with his Instagram followers
Kim Taehyung, also known as BTS’ V, now holds two Guinness World Records!
V proved his superstar status after Guinness World Records confirmed that he broke the world record for the fastest time to reach one million and 10 million followers on Instagram.
In a statement, Guinness said V’s Instagram account reached one million followers in just 43 minutes, and reached 10 million in four hours and 52 minutes.
V and fellow BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook now have over 20 million followers each, as of this writing.
Before V, the Guinness World Record for the fastest time to reach 1 million followers on Instagram was previously held by NCT’s Taeil.
Former record holders also include Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint, Friends actress Jennifer Aniston, and Pope Francis, among others.
V debuted as the lead dancer, sub vocalist, and visual of BTS in 2013.
