'Frozen' in Concert to be held in Manila in November

Film Concerts PH is holding a "Frozen in Concert" this November 16 at 5:00 p.m. and 17 at 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Circuit Makati.
At the show, Disney fans can experience the magic of the 2013 film again but this time, they can hear their favorite songs played live by the Filharmonika Orchestra conducted by Mhaze Lim.
Registration for pre-sale is now open via Ticketworld and fans can subscribe to the public waitlist so they won't miss out on scoring tickets. Pre-sale begins on Aug. 30 until Sept. 1, 11:59 p.m.
Meanwhile, tickets will be available to the public starting Sept. 12.
Ticket prices range from P1,999 and go up to P5,999.
Frozen, first hit theaters in 2013 and became a global hit, grossing over $1.280 billion (P72 billion) at the worldwide box office. The film earned an Oscar for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song, a Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature Film, and two Grammy Awards.
The movie's soundtrack, written by Filipino-American composer Robert Lopez and his wife Kristen Anderson, includes hits like Let It Go, For the First Time In Forever, Love is an Open Door, and Do You Want To Build a Snowman?
Frozen follows Anna (Kristen Bell) as she enlists the help of mountaineer Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and snowman Olaf (Josh Gad) to end the eternal winter brought about by her sister Elsa (Idina Menzel).
A sequel was released in 2019, with a third film, Frozen III, slated for 2027.
This September, Film Concert PH is holding "Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert" on Sept. 7 and 8 with veteran music conducted Gerard Salonga leading the Filharmonika Orchkestra.
