Lea Salonga is set to star in the upcoming HBO Max series Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, and she couldn't be more "excited."

Salonga shared the good news on her social media on Tuesday, Sept. 28.

“The moms have descended upon the town of Millwood! And we have secrets and lies of our own (can’t let the children have all the fun),” the broadway actress wrote about the new Pretty Little Liars reboot.

“So excited to be part of the cast of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin,” Salonga added.

Salonga will play the role of Elodie, the "overbearing" mother of Minnie (Malia Pyles), who "works overtime to keep her daughter safe following a trauma that occurred when Minnie was just a little girl."

Joining her on the show are Sharon Leal, Elena Goode, Zakiya Young and Carly Pope.

According to a Deadline report, the show is set in the present, two decades after a "series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart."

"Now, in the present day, a group of disparate teen girls — a brand-new set of Little Liars — find themselves tormented by an unknown assailant and made to pay for the secret sin their parents committed two decades ago…as well as their own," the report added.

The drama is written by Aguirre-Sacasa and Calhoon Bring, and is based on the bestselling books by Sara Shepard.

While the reboot features a new generation of Little Liars and set miles away from Rosewood, it is still "within the existing Pretty Little Liars universe."

Pretty Little Liars first aired in 2010 and ran for seven seasons. It was created by I. Marlene King, and starred Lucy Hale, Shay Mitchell, Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario, and Sasha Pieterse.
