The fifth season wrapped up in late May after airing in two parts across 2020 and 2021, due to Covid-19 delays. Last season ended on a signature cliffhanger, with Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), aka the Actual Devil, ascending to his father’s throne to become God.
The trailer teases quite a few mysteries to solve in season six of the DC Comics adaptation, with lots of action-packed sequences, the arrival of Deadpool’s Brianna Hildebrand as rebellious angel Rory and included a brief glimpse of Lucifer and Chloe somehow transformed into animated versions of themselves.
Check out the official trailer below.
Lucifer‘s 10-episode final season will be released to Netflix on Friday, September 10, 2021.
