Published Apr 19, 2026 3:28 pm

School’s out, and we all know the struggle: finding ways to get the kids away from their gadgets this summer.

Thankfully, the new lineup of camps and workshops goes way beyond basic playtime. The options are endless, ranging from hands-on coding and creative storytelling to athletic camps and even culinary programs that teach kids not just how to cook, but how to think like entrepreneurs.

Here are some summer activities and classes worth checking out:

Jollibee JolliKids Fun Camp

If your kid is curious about what happens behind the counter, Jollibee’s JolliKids Fun Camp offers a playful introduction to it. Designed as a three-day guided experience, the program lets children step into simple restaurant roles in a safe and supervised environment.

Participants get to try tasks like taking orders, serving meals, and preparing familiar Jollibee favorites. There is also a storytelling session using the Jollibee Values Book, giving kids a chance to learn about teamwork, responsibility, and kindness.

Open to children aged 4 to 12, the camp runs from April 20 to June 30 in select stores nationwide. The P799 registration fee already includes a uniform set, workshop materials, and meals.

To register, visit or call any of the following participating stores.

Vikings Luxury Buffet Little Chef Workshop

For children who enjoy hands-on activities, the Little Chef Workshop at Vikings offers a culinary experience that blends fun and learning. The program introduces basic cooking techniques through interactive and easy-to-follow activities.

Kids can try rolling their own maki, assembling pizzas, decorating cupcakes, and even making pasta. Each activity is designed to be simple yet engaging, allowing them to explore flavors and creativity at the same time.

Held at SM Mall of Asia starting April 13, the workshop is open to kids aged 5 to 12. It is a great option for families looking to turn dining into a more immersive and memorable experience.
