Looking for a trusty smartwatch or fitness tracker to help you record stats on your run? Garmin is bringing its latest smartwatches, the Forerunner 570 and Forerunner 970, to the Philippines.
These new releases offer the brand's brightest AMOLED display yet, richer data insights, workout flexibility, and smarter recovery metrics for those prepping for a big race or fine-tuning their performance in the gym.
Forerunner 570
This smartwatch features a 1.4-inch display (47mm) with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It's made of aluminum, comes with a silicone strap, and weighs 50g, so it's comfortable to wear for running.
To help you achieve your running goals, the watch tracks metrics like training status, acute load, training effect, performance condition, VO2 max, and more. On the health side, it monitors your sleep, Body Battery, energy, stress, heart rate variability, and for women, their menstrual cycle and pregnancy.
Runners can check out the daily suggested workout tailored for them that adapts after every run.
Its battery life can last up to 11 days in smartwatch mode, according to Garmin, and it can do the basics like let you take and make phone calls from your wrist, play music, show notifications, provide GPS tracking, and more.
The Forerunner 570 comes in vibrant colorways like raspberry with a translucent bone/mango band, amp yellow with a translucent whitestone/turquoise band, and indigo with a translucent imperial purple/indigo band. It's available for P33,490.
Forerunner 970
The Forerunner 970, meanwhile, builds on the features of the Forerunner 570. Designed for those who want to break their PRs, this smartwatch offers built-in mapping, so you can see a full-color map of your route, whether that's on city streets or through densely covered trails. The device can also provide turn-by-turn directions from courses in the Garmin Connect app, so you'll always be on track.
This watch features a 1.4-inch display with a titanium bezel and a sapphire crystal lens for durability. It can last up to 15 days on smartwatch mode.
The same health and fitness features in the Forerunner 570, like daily suggested workouts, training status, and more, are also found in the Forerunner 970.
With a 47mm case, the watch comes in carbon gray DLC titanium with a black/translucent whitestone band, titanium with a whitestone/translucent amp yellow band, and soft gold titanium with a French gray/translucent indigo band. It's available for P45,690.
