Park Hyung-sik, Park Bo-young to make a cameo in 'Strong Woman Do Bong Soon' spin-off
Excited to have a glimpse of the married life of Bong-soon and Min-hyuk?
In a March 30 report by South Korean media outlet Soompi, Strong Woman Do Bong Soon stars Park Bo-young and Park Hyung-sik are set to reunite for a special appearance on the spin-off of the hit 2017 series.
The news was confirmed by a source of the spin-off series saying that the actors have "received offers to make special appearances" and have now "completed filming."
Strong Woman Do Bong Soon is the story of a petite yet mighty woman Do Bong Soon who was able to defeat the series’ antagonist with her immense strength. She shares a married life with Ahn Min-hyuk, who is a CEO of a video gaming company.
Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon will tell the story of Bong-soon's distant cousin Gang Nam-soon who went missing as a child in Mongolia, it will center on tackling the reality of drug crimes in Gangnam.
The titular role will be played by Lee Yoomi, who also starred in the hit Netflix series, Squid Game. Joining her in the cast are Ong Seong Wu, Byun Woo Seok, Kim Jung Eun, and Kim Hae Sook. It is slated to start premiering within the first half of 2023.
