'The Nightmare Before Christmas' Funko Pop! Advent Calendar has arrived
Fans of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas might want to get their hands on a newly launched Funko Pop! advent calendar.
Who wouldn’t want to count down the holidays with this fun Halloween / Christmas themed classic? The calendar is based on the 1993 American stop-motion animated musical dark fantasy film that tells the story of Jack Skellington, the King of "Halloween Town" who stumbles through a portal to "Christmas Town" and becomes obsessed with celebrating the holiday.
The Nightmare Before Christmas advent calendar includes 24 Pocket Pop mini-figures hidden behind little doors. Most will come as a surprise, as the official product photos only reveal Jack, Sally, Oogie Boogie, and Dr. Finkelstein in front of the box. The front of the box also shows Santa Claus (or Sandy Claws, as Jack calls him).
According to Amazon, the Pocket Pop! vinyl figures feature favorite characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas. The Pocket Pop! Vinyl figures range in height depending on the character, but the maximum height is just 2 inches tall.
The advent calendar is currently available for pre-order on Amazon for $39.99, with global shipping to the Philippines, bringing the price tag up to $59.45 (roughly Php 2,879.40). The product is expected to be in stock on October 10, 2020, arriving in the Philippines from October 15 to November 9.
