The second installment of Wednesday is almost here.

Netflix dropped the first official teaser trailer for Wednesday Season 2 on Wednesday, April 23, bringing the show's fans back to Nevermore.

When asked by her mother, Morticia Addams (Catherine Zeta-Jones), how it feels to be back to school, Wednesday—played by Jenna Ortega—said it's "like returning to the scene of the crime."

"I already know where the bodies are buried," she added.

Wednesday Season 2 will be shown on Netflix in two parts: the first one will be out on Aug. 6, while the second one will be released on Sept. 3.

Jenna, who also serves as the series' producer, previously said that the upcoming season will be “bigger” and “more action-packed,” teasing that they will lean more toward the horror genre.

“It’s really, really exciting because all throughout the show, while Wednesday does need a little bit of an arc, she never really changes and that’s the wonderful thing about her,” she told E! News on the 75th Emmy Awards red carpet. “There’s really, really good one-liners, and I think everything’s bigger. It's a lot more action-packed.”

Directed by Tim Burton, Wednesday premiered on Netflix in November 2022 and was included in Netflix’s Top 10 list of most popular English series. Its renewal for a second season was announced in January 2023.
