LOOK: How Eva Le Queen's rice cooking performance at 'RuPaul's Drag Race: Global All Stars' was made

Philippines' Eva Le Queen kicked off her run at RuPaul's Drag Race Global All Stars strong as she was among the top performers at the reality competition's talent extravaganza.

For her showing, the Pinay drag queen taught the global audience how to cook rice. But Eva's cooking lesson served more than the Filipino food staple as she would grab a sword and slay a dragon.

Comedian Baus Rufo shared a behind-the-scenes look at the conceptualization of Eva's talent show, adding that it was inspired by her 2022 performance cooking rice while lip-syncing.

"It's our love letter to the hoops that mothers go through to put food on the table. [Oh] and yeah... Dragons," Baus wrote in his caption.

"Back in 2022, I saw Eva bring comedy gold performing rice cooking to a ballad. The concept was so genius that all we had to do was open it up for the Global All Stars stage. We wanted it more epic and more stupid for Mama Ru."

Baus said that it took them about 20 minutes to write the performance, which made callbacks to earlier All Stars seasons—one of which was Vanessa Hudgens saying she's "so into voguing" in RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 3.

For Eva's performance, she said "I'm so into swordfighting right now" as she waited for her rice to be cooked. She fought some men and a dragon only to realize that she forgot to plug in the cooking appliance.

"And the dragon was us imagining how Studio Ghibli would interpret an inner saboteur.

Eva landed in the top 2 in the talent extravaganza and lip synced against Sweden's Vanity Vain.

The Filipina drag queen also shared a look at her outfit for the challenge, which was custom handpainted by Job Dacon.

The first two episodes of Global All Stars saw the international queens showcasing different talents. For the runway in episode 2, they walked in currency-inspired outfits.

Eva walked in a Bamboo Piggy Bank-themed ensemble, which she shared was inspired by her lolo.
