LOOK: Scenes from hit Netflix shows recreated in LEGO
With kids and adults stuck at home for more than a year, streaming sites like Netflix and childhood brick-building toy LEGO have become more popular than ever.
With everyone spending extra time at home, many have found the time to rediscover the joys of brick-building while paying tribute to their favorite shows.
The toy review site ToyZone decided to give Netflix Original series the LEGO treatment by digitally recreating memorable scenes from hit shows such as The Queen’s Gambit, Cobra Kai, Bridgerton, The Witcher, Tiger King, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Russian Doll and The Crown.

The team used Studio 2.0 which has a complete library of all LEGO bricks and effects that could also tell them how much it would cost to create the scene with the used bricks.
Project Designer Roman Ramirez then went through and used additional software to debug designs, add details, and add objects that aren’t available in Studio 2.0.
Their original slideshow comparison shows the bricked-up version compared to the reference scene, with each entry indicating the total number and types of bricks used and how much everything would cost through BrickLink.
The scene from The Queen’s Gambit featuring Beth Harmon in a chess battle against chess prodigy Benny Watts is taken from the series’ third episode “Double Pawns.” The set makes use of 214 bricks in total and costs $76.62.
The scene from The Witcher is based on the fourth episode of the show depicting Geralt of Rivia protecting the hedgehog man (Duny) from Calanthe’s soldiers in 1,832 bricks.
Netflix’s glitzy British Regency Bridgerton gets LEGO-fied with 2,142 bricks making up the memorable scene from the first episode where Simon and Daphne dance together in the latest society ball, complete with illuminated plant leaf pieces and Belville Ice Crystals first seen in royalty-themed LEGO sets.

Cobra Kai also gets the Lego treatment with a scene featuring Johnny Lawrence leading the new generation of fighters in the dojo, complete with a mini-figure sporting Hawk’s signature hairstyle. The set makes use of 933 bricks in total, costing $125.85.
