With the imminent launch of the PlayStation 5, now is probably a good time to look for a new TV that can maximize all of the amazing features of the highly-anticipated next generation console. Good thing is, Sony is making life a tad bit easier for those who are preparing for the arrival of the PS5 following the launch of its ‘Ready for PlayStation 5’-marked Sony Bravia models.

Sony recently announced that its standout X90H and Z8H TVs are the first models under its Bravia lineup that are ‘Ready for PlayStation 5’.

Sony said that its X90H is capable of displaying gameplay images of up to 4K resolution at 120 fps with a very low input lag of 7.2ms. However, this will be available via a future firmware update on the Bravia TV.

On the other hand, the Z8H can display incredibly detailed 8K resolution images while also showcasing 4K resolution gameplay images at 120 fps. Sony said that both Bravia models will provide extremely smooth gaming experiences with the the much-awaited PlayStation 5.

Although we're still clueless on the price of the PlayStation 5, Sony Philippines said that the price of its X90H model starts at P66,699 and will be available in the country by mid-August. However, there's no word yet on the pricing and availability of the Z8H. So if you are thinking of buying the PlayStation 5 along with the X90H, it would be wise to save up around P100,000 (or more) to take full advantage of Sony's next-gen console once it hit shelves later this year.
