Chungha tests positive for COVID-19, but she's reassuring her fans that she's okay.

"Our Byulharang (Chungha’s fans), I’m leaving this post in case you get too worried if I don’t say anything," the K-pop superstar wrote on her official fan page.

"I’m sorry and sorry again. I tried to be careful, but I guess it wasn’t enough. I was also urgently notified today and just found out. I’ll return again and promote in good health! Our Byulharang should also be careful and careful once more! Don’t worry too much, and let’s meet soon!! Once again, I’m sorry," Chungha said.

On Monday, Dec. 7, Chungha's agency, MNH Entertainment, released a statement on Chungha’s official fan café regarding the news.

"Chungha, an artist belonging to our company, has been tested positive for COVID-19," they wrote. MNH Entertainment added that the Gotta Go singer voluntarily had herself tested after learning that she "had come into contact with a confirmed case." Morning of Dec. 7, the results showed that she's indeed infected with the virus.

"She stopped all activities and went into self-isolation immediately, and is taking necessary measures according to the guidelines of the quarantine authorities. Artists, staff, and staff members who have overlapped or had contact with the current flow have or will be conducting an inspection together. We will follow up on this as soon as it is confirmed. The company actively cooperates with the government's policy to conduct an overall inspection to ensure that there is no risk of quarantine and further infection throughout the company. We will do our best to manage the entire artist," they added.

Chungha is set to perform at Los Angeles’s 102.7 KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball Village on Dec. 10, alongside LOONA, Why Don’t We, and Stephanie Poetri. She is also set to drop her first full album QUERENCIA on January 4 and her pre-release single X on the December 10. There are still no updates on whether she'll be joining the show or if there are any changes in the release.
