'Bar Boys: A New Musical' to return on stage in October
Law school musical Bar Boys: A New Musical will grace the theater stage once again!
In a press release, Barefoot Theatre Collaborative announced that the musical will hold its limited five-week rerun beginning October 4 to November 3 at the Power Mac Center Spotlight Blackbox Theater, Circuit Makati.
Under the direction of Pat Valera and Mikko Angeles, local actors Benedix Ramos (Erik), Alex Diaz (Chris), Jerom Canlas (Torran), Omar Uddin (Josh), and Sheila Francisco (Justice Hernandez) are set to reprise their roles.
Meanwhile, Myke Salomon and Jomelle Era will serve as the musical director and movement director, respectively.
Theater fans can book tickets at Ticket2Me's official website. Ticket prices range from P2,799 (Gold) to P2,999 (VIP).
Further details, such as other cast who will join the rerun, have yet to be announced.
Based on Kip Oebanda's 2017 Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino film, Bar Boys: A New Musical follows "the life of four friends and their journey to become defenders of justice in the Philippines."

Barefoot Theater Collaborative announced in April 2023 that they were adapting Oebanda's 2017 film, which starred Enzo Pineda (Chris), Carlo Aquino (Erik), Rocco Nacino (Torran), and Kean Cipriano (Josh).
