It's been seven years since BLACKPINK debuted in the K-pop scene. In honor of their anniversary as a group, members of the iconic quartet penned heartfelt messages for their supporters on their respective Instagram pages as they reminisced about their remarkable journey together.
Jennie posted a series of photos of the group to mark their special day with the caption: "7 years with [BLACKPINK]. I love us, I love Blackpink, I love Blinks."
Jisoo, for her part, shared their photobooth snap on IG and kept her caption short but sweet: “BLINK BLACKPINK FOREVER.”
Meanwhile, Rosé came up with a lengthy message as she expressed her gratitude to BLACKPINK, their fans, and everyone who has contributed to their success as a group. "Thank you, Blackpink, for being such a blessing in my life. I have really been able to experience everything and more than what I have ever dreamed of growing up as an aspiring artist. Thank you, thank you and thank you a thousand times. Blackpink, Blinks, Teddy, YG Entertainment, and everyone else who believed in [BLACKPINK] for the past seven years.
"My heart is so full. I cannot express my gratitude for every single person who has been a part of this seven-year journey with us four. [BLACKPINK] is officially seven years old today! And I am immensely proud of every single one of us. For making history. For always having so much fun and pride with what we do. Thank you to our Blinks for trusting each and every one of us, all along," she added.
In her post, Lisa shared that seven is one of her favorite numbers as she wished for this year to be a good one for the group. "Happy 7th anniversary to me and my 3 amazing girls @blackpinkofficial 7 is one of my favorite numbers and I hope this year will be a lucky one for us. Love you girls and Blinks so so much."
BLACKPINK debuted in 2016 under YG Entertainment. They’re best known for their hit songs How You Like That, Kill This Love, and DDU-DU DDU-DU, among others. Earlier this year, they have become the most streamed female band on Spotify.
