Dropping the beat is a cue to jump and dance at rave parties, but something different happened to this pregnant mom who went into labor while enjoying a music festival.

Cristina Celis didn’t know that it was also the time she would welcome her child, given that she supposedly had a few weeks left before she was due.

According to the report by NBC affiliate KSNV, Cristina attended the EDC (Electronic Daisy Carnival) festival held last May 20 and 21. As an avid attendee for five years, the 29-year-old mom didn’t pass this year’s event despite being pregnant.

“Every year as soon as tickets go out, I purchase them and you know already kind of started planning,” she said.

Cristina traveled from from Santa Clarita, California to Las Vegas to attend the much-awaited festival with her boyfriend, Jonny Garcia.

Since she was in her 31-32nd week of pregnancy, Cristina made sure that everything was normal and stable before heading to the music fest.

“Literally had a doctor's appointment that morning I came [to Las Vegas] so everything was still good,” she said.

Everything went normal, until she felt something different during Zedd’s set. But as a first-time mom, she didn’t know then that it was an indication that she was in labor.

“Out of nowhere on Saturday night I started to get some weird pains, it’s my first baby so I wasn’t sure what I was feeling,” Celis told to FOX affiliate KVVU-TV.

Detailing the incident, Cristina said she went to the first aid available on the event grounds to get assessed.

“They came back and they’re like, ‘Because of how far along you are, we do prefer you go to the hospital,’ so they transported me to the hospital,” Celis told the Review-Journal.

15 to 20 minutes after being rushed to University Medical Center, Cristina gave birth to her baby girl, who they named Izzabela Daisy—inspired by the music festival and Zedd’s name.

“We added the extra “Z” in honor for Zedd because that's technically where she went into labor,” her boyfriend said. “We put Daisy for the Electric Daisy Carnival, so that's why we put Daisy as her middle name,” he added.

Completing the full-circle moment, the new parents were greeted by Zedd on Twitter.

“I heard someone gave birth [on] the stage DURING MY SHOW. Can someone pls help me find the person? I’d like to reach out!” said Zedd in the tweet.

Cristina excitedly replied to the tweet, sharing a photo of her with his newborn and partner.

“Congrats!!!!! so happy you’re both healthy and that I had the honor to be the soundtrack,” Zedd wrote back.

Since her child is a few weeks early, they said that she will stay in NICU until she’s okay to travel. Looking back on the extraordinary moment, Cristina couldn’t be any happier.

“I love the rave community,” Celis told the Review-Journal. “It’s just crazy that this happened in one of my comfort places.”
