Love Weird Barbie? Mattel launches made-to-order dolls based on character from hit movie
We all had our own versions of “weird Barbies” we played with as a child, but if you loved Weird Barbie from Barbie The Movie, Mattel has launched its made-to-order dolls to treat your inner child.
“Time to get weird. Inspired by her look in @BarbieTheMovie, Weird #Barbie knows what it’s like to play just a liiiiittle too much!” Mattel wrote in an Instagram post on Aug. 5.

Weird Barbie looks starkly identical with the one played by Kate McKinnon in Greta Gerwig's hit movie. The doll wears a bright pink puff-sleeved dress with colorful doodles and paint splatter on the side. You can also pose her however you like as it comes with movable arms, legs, and head.

She also rocks a one-of-a-kind short messy, and blonde hair with streaks of colors blue and pink. There are also pen marks on her face which perfectly depict a doll that was played with a little too much.
This black-labeled doll was designed by Javier Meabe, and it comes in collectible Barbie The Movie packaging. It will also have a doll stand and a Certificate of Authenticity.
