Stargaze and dine under the stars at Masungi Georeserve this holiday season

This limited-time experience offers a blend of adventure, culture, and astronomy at Masungi Georeserve.
While Masungi Georeserve is known for its hiking trails, it is offering something unique this holiday season. You can enjoy a night of stargazing, hiking, and delicious Filipino food—the perfect way to spend an evening under the stars.
The activity starts with a trek through Masungi's Discovery Trail. It's a 30-minute journey under the starry sky where you learn about celestial wonders.
Once you reach the peak, traditional Filipino holiday snacks like bibingka, puto bumbong, and hot chocolate await. To complete your night, indulge in a candle-lit dinner with a meal, wrapped in banana leaves, prepared by the talented hands of Masungi's community partners.
The experience is available on December 5-8, 12-15, 19-22, 27-29, and January 3-5, 2025, with slots at 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 8 p.m.
A conservation fee of P3,000 per guest or P2,800 per guest in a group of four or more will be collected upon registration. An email will be sent to you once the registration is confirmed.
Visitors are advised to wear proper hiking attire, including closed, non-slip shoes and a light rain jacket. It's also essential to bring personal items like water bottles and necessary medications, such as insect repellent.
To preserve the natural beauty of Masungi, guests are reminded to follow Leave No Trace principles. This includes respecting all visitors, leaving no trace of their visit, refraining from smoking, and avoiding loud noises.
Located in Baras, Rizal, Masungi Georeserve is famous for its lush and scenic green landscapes and cool climate. Some activities offered are exploring the Discovery Trail and Legacy Trail.
The foundation earned recognition from the 2024 Asia Pacific Social Innovation Partnership Awards (APSIPA) by Taiwan, 2024 World Economic Forum, as well as in the 2022 UN Sustainable Development Goals Action Campaign under the Inspire category for its commendable efforts to save and preserve the environment.
