Galaxy S26 series packs world's first Privacy Display, 'Super Steady' camera feature
Samsung has unveiled its latest flagship devices, the Galaxy S26 series, which come with beefed-up AI features and the world's first built-in Privacy Display.
The tech company launched the phones during its Unpacked event on Feb. 26 in San Francisco.
Specs
There are three phones in the lineup: the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra—all with different-sized displays. The standard version packs a 6.3-inch FHD+ display, the S26+ with a 6.7-inch QHD+ display, and the Ultra with a big 6.9-inch QHD+ screen. However, all devices come with a 120Hz refresh rate and start with 12GB RAM. The S26 Ultra can be equipped with 16GB RAM+1TB ROM.
The most powerful in the line, the Ultra, is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and packs a 5,000mAh battery capacity. The S26 and S26+ have an Exynos 2600 chip under the hood and 4,300mAh and 4,900mAh battery, respectively.
Camera-wise, the S26 and S26+ are equipped with the same setup: a 12MP ultrawide lens, a 50MP wide shooter, and a 10MP telephoto camera. The S26 Ultra gets a more sophisticated array with a 50MP ultrawide, 200MP wide, 50MP telephoto with 10x optical quality zoom and 5x optical zoom, and another 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. A 12MP front camera takes care of selfies across all devices.
Smart features
Samsung again puts focus on AI features for its flagship Galaxy devices, as it said that the S26 series aims to make frequently used experiences easier by reducing the steps you usually take.
For instance, Now Nudge takes context into consideration. If a friend asks you for photos from a trip, the AI can automatically suggest photos to send.
Now Brief is also more proactive and personalized, as it gives you reminders about upcoming events.
One of the highlight features of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, though, is the world's first built-in Privacy Display. With this feature, you only need to tap on a button to ensure nobody else sees what's on your phone except you—no need to install an anti-spy screen protector!
Users can even customize when they want the feature to be on, and can even toggle it partially to limit visibility for notification pop-ups.
Samsung has also introduced AI-powered Call Screening—similar to an iPhone feature introduced in iOS 26—wherein if an unknown number calls you, AI will screen first to identify them and summarize their intent.
Meanwhile, for camera features, the Galaxy S26 Ultra comes with Enhanced Nightography Video for clearer footage even in less-than-ideal lighting situations.
There's also a Super Steady function, which will stabilize your shots no matter how much you move the camera around.

The Galaxy S26 Series will be available in Cobalt Violet, Sky Blue, Black, and White. If you purchase online, there are exclusive colors of Silver Shadow and Pink Gold.
