Fans of tactical RPGs in the west can now play Bandai Namco’s safeguarded title for the first time ever.

Super Robot Wars was released in Japan only in 1991 and has been the biggest tactical RPG ever since. It has since had 50 games released in the country including main games and spin-off titles.

The game is a massive cross-over feature that brings all of the mechs or robots from famous Japanese manga and anime like Mobile Suit Gundam, Mazinger Z, Mazinkaiser, Getter Robo, and SSSS.Gridman to battle.

Its most recent iteration however, Super Robot Wars 30, is breaking those bondages and is now coming to the US and Europe through Steam when it releases.
