Oda also revealed that One Piece 2 will delve into the expansive world of the Grand Line, offering insights into the inspiration behind the ‘Kingdom’ and its connections to the real world.
The creator of the best-selling manga expressed his commitment to being closely involved in the project, from script development to casting decisions. His insistence on creative oversight has kept the production team and Netflix on their toes, but Oda made it clear that the series won't be released until it meets his high standards—reflecting their shared dedication to faithfully bringing the beloved manga to life.
The post also hinted at the expanding cast, with more characters set to be revealed between August 21 and August 23
