Longtime 'Wheel of Fortune' host Pat Sajak announces retirement
Pat Sajak is stepping down from hosting Wheel of Fortune after more than four decades at the helm of the US television game show, he announced on Tuesday, June 13 (Philippine time).
The 76-year-old TV personality said his 41st season at the long-running show, which begins in September, would be his last.
"It's been a wonderful ride," he wrote on Twitter.
Well, the time has come. I’ve decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last. It’s been a wonderful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the coming months. Many thanks to you all. (If nothing else, it’ll keep the clickbait sites busy!)
