Oct. 9-11: Likhang HABI Market Fair 2026

Support Filipino artisans and discover locally made pieces at the 16th edition of the Likhang HABI Market Fair, happening from Oct. 9 to 11 at SPACE at One Ayala in Makati City.
With the theme “Worth Every Thread,” the three-day fair brings together around 100 exhibitors, including weavers, artisans, designers, makers, and textile advocates from across the country.
Expect to see traditional Filipino weaving techniques translated into contemporary pieces, from textiles and clothing to other handcrafted creations.
Oct. 10: Byeon Woo-seok's 'The Secret Library'

Lovely Runner star Byeon Woo-seok is coming to Manila!
The K-drama actor is holding "The Secret Library" fanmeet at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Oct. 10, 6 p.m.
But the hype for the much-awaited event starts as early as Oct. 9, as a fanmeet pop-up will be open at SM MoA until Oct. 11.
Visitors can shop for official merchandise and collect exclusive event goodies, including a photo postcard and stamp card upon entry.
Fans who complete all three stamp missions can receive an exclusive White Ver. photocard, while every P2,300 spent on merchandise comes with an exclusive Blue Ver. photocard, while supplies last.
The best part is there's no reservation required for entry to the pop-up.

Oct. 10-11: KapeCon 2026

Coffee lovers, this one's for you.
KapeCon 2026 is bringing coffee enthusiasts, brewers, farmers, businesses, and industry players together for a two-day celebration of Philippine coffee culture on Oct. 10 and 11 at Paseo de Roxas in Makati City.
The event is free to attend, with activities including coffee competitions and community events. On Oct. 10, visitors can watch the Latte Art Twosome Throwdown, while the Kape't Kamay Brewdown takes place on Oct. 11.

Oct. 10-18: Design Week Philippines

Design enthusiasts have plenty to explore as Design Week Philippines 2026 returns for its 15th year, running from Oct. 10 to 18 at venues across the country.
The weeklong celebration brings together designers, communities, and industries through exhibitions, workshops, live performances, fairs, and other creative programs.
Among the events to check out are Googly Gooeys' free workshops and live demos at the Likhang Filipino Exhibition Halls in Pasay City from Oct. 15 to 18, covering everything from paper crafting and 3D printing to laser cutting and Siser projects.
Design Week Philippines will also host a Portfolio Review on Oct. 17 at Gallery 1 of the Likhang Filipino Exhibition Halls, where creatives can have their work reviewed by industry professionals across image-making, object-making, placemaking, and systems and experience design.

Oct. 9-11: Sayaw ng mga Ilaw

If you're in the mood for theater, there's still time to catch Tanghalang Pilipino's Sayaw ng mga Ilaw before its Oct. 11 closing.
The movement-based production is running from Friday to Sunday at Tanghalang Ignacio Gimenez at the CCP Complex in Pasay City, with tickets starting at P1,800.
Adapted by Juan Ekis from Cheeno Marlo Sayuno's children's story, the production follows young Laya as her family deals with loss and uncertainty. The play explores themes of grief, family, hope, and healing through dance and theater.
The show's final weekend includes performances on Oct. 9 at 8 p.m., Oct. 10 at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Oct. 11 at 3 p.m.

Oct. 8-10: 86th German Club Oktoberfest

Bring out your dirndls and lederhosen for the 86th German Club Oktoberfest at the Solaire Grand Ballroom in Parañaque City.
The three-night celebration runs from Oct. 8 to 10, with doors opening at 6 p.m. each night. Tickets cost P5,200 for regular admission and P10,800 for VIP, and include access to the festivities featuring Bavarian food, live music from the Bavarian Sound Express, and German beer.
The event runs through Friday and Saturday, making it an option for the weekend crowd. Just note that Oktoberfest is strictly for guests aged 18 and above.
