‘Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild’ coming to Netflix this August
Netflix has dropped a trailer and finally set a release date for the 3D animated film adaptation of Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild, three years after it was announced.

The upcoming adaptation, streaming globally this Aug. 12 on Netflix, follows the young hunter, Aiden, on his quest to save his village from an elder dragon together with his companions.
Aiden is the same character as Ace Cadet in Monster Hunter 4 and Excitable A-Lister in Monster Hunter: World before he became a full-fledged hunter.
Production was carried out by Pure Imagination Studios, which credits include several Lego animations.
The latest game of the Capcom franchise, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, was released last July 9, available on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
