Buruguduystunstugudunstuy is the title of the rock novelty band’s 1997 debut album.

Previously, the organizer of the upcoming 2024 musical, announced on Sept. 1 that it is giving the OPM band's fans a chance to score free invites if they can guess the play's title right.

NRW Musicals also announced that it is looking for aspiring theater actors and actresses for the said musical. To qualify, interested applicants, ages 18 to 50 years old must send their resume and a video of them singing 16 bars of any song by the band to [email protected] from Tuesday, Sept. 12 to Sunday, October 1.

A three-day in-person audition will also occur from October 16 to 18, while final callbacks will take place from October 24 to 26.

Rumors about the new musical began circulating online when the cast of Ang Huling El Bimbo sang a portion of Parokya ni Edgar's hit song Harana during their show's final curtain call last July 23. Behind them was a screen with the text, "Abangan 2024."

Other details including its plot, showtime, and ticket selling, haven't been announced yet.

Parokya ni Edgar is best known for songs such as Picha Pie, Mr. Suave, Your Song, and This Guy’s In Love With You, Pare.
