Power Rangers fans will surely have their inner child squealing with joy!

The stars of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are set to reunite for a Netflix special in celebration of the show's 30th anniversary.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Walter Emanuel Jones and David Yost will once again morph into their characters Black Power Ranger Zack and Blue Power Ranger Billy respectively. Joining them in the special are Catherine Sutherland (second Pink Ranger Kat), Steve Cardenas (second Red Ranger Rocky), Karan Ashley (second Yellow Ranger Aisha), and Johnny Yong Bosch (second Black Ranger Adam).

Barbara Goodson and Richard Horvitz, who have provided the voices for the heroes' nemesis Rita Repulsa and their robotic assistant Alpha 5, respectively, will also be featured.

The news outlet has not received further information on whether other original cast members will be involved.

Jason David Frank, who played the original Green Ranger Tommy, unfortunately died by suicide in November last year.

According to Yost, who boasts the title of the longest-running original Ranger after staying in the 1993 series, reuniting with his co-stars has been an "amazing" experience.

"We went through the audition process together and launched the Power Rangers franchise. It was such a surreal experience to be on the set of Power Rangers again after 28 years."

Titled Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always, the special will center on the Rangers being compelled to once again take up the mantle and be the heroes the world needs after "a familiar threat from the past" causes a global crisis.

In a teaser shared by the official Power Rangers account on Twitter, other cast members described the special as "very nostalgic" and will have audiences "excited to see a bunch of retro Rangers come back." It will also contain "so many little Easter Eggs [that] will give the fans everything they want."

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always is set to premiere on Netflix on April 19.
