The Harry Potter series is welcoming three more familiar faces.

On Sept. 16, HBO Max announced on Instagram that Rafe Spall will play Arthur Weasley, a role that has been played by Mark Williams in the Harry Potter films. Arthur is a father of seven and a longtime Ministry of Magic employee whose fascination with Muggles sets him apart from many other pure-blood wizards. One of his children is Ron Weasley, Harry Potter’s best friend.

Molly Hewitt-Richards, who has appeared in BBC drama Casualty, will take on the role of Moaning Myrtle, which has been played by Shirley Henderson in the movies.

Jasper Ambrose will portray Colin Creevey, a Muggle-born Gryffindor student who admires Harry and often follows him around with a camera.

The upcoming second season of the Harry Potter series is based on Chamber of Secrets. It will begin filming this fall.

The series stars Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley. Other cast members include John Lithgow as Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Professor McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Snape and Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid.

Jon Brown, who wrote for the first season, has been promoted to co-showrunner for Season 2 alongside Francesca Gardiner.

Gardiner and Mark Mylod also serve as executive producers, alongside J.K. Rowling, Neil Blair, Ruth Kenley-Letts of Brontë Film and TV, and David Heyman of Heyday Films. Warner Bros. Television is the studio behind the series.

The first season will premiere on HBO and HBO Max on Christmas Day.
