Mariah Carey to hold Manila concert in October

The international hit singer announced on Monday, March 24 that she's coming to Manila to hold a concert later this year.

"We’re taking The Celebration of Mimi worldwide! I can’t wait to see you all during this special anniversary year of the Mimi album," she wrote in an Instagram post showing the official poster and schedule of her upcoming tour.

Her Manila show will be held on Oct. 14 at SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Additional details, including the ticket prices and selling period, are yet to be announced.

Aside from the Philippines, she's also set to perform in China, Thailand, and Japan.

Carey said more dates and stops will be revealed soon.

She last dropped by the Philippines in 2018.

The singer is best known for the hits Emotions, Obsessed, We Belong Together, All I Want for Christmas is You, among many others.
