Carly Rae Jepsen to headline 'Wanderland: The Comeback'
Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen will be headlining the Wanderland music and arts festival on March 4 and 5 next year at the Filinvest Event Grounds in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
Jepsen is among other international acts in "Wanderland :The Comeback," such as Phoenix (France); Sunset Rollercoaster and Leo Wang (Taiwan); Men I Trust (Canada); Stephen Day (United States; and Balming Tiger and George (South Korea).
She last went to the Philippines in 2019 as part of her "Dedicated" tour. Before that concert, she had visited the country a few times.
The 37-year-old artist first rose to fame with her 2012 trending song Call Me Maybe. Jepsen has other material prior to that smash hit, and has since released several studio albums afterward, including Kiss (2012), Emotion (2015), Dedicated (2019), and The Loneliest Time (2022).
Homegrown talents in the Wanderland 2023 lineup include IV of Spades' Blaster Silonga and his band The Celestial Klowns, The Sundown, August Wahh, and the London-based no rome.
The festival was last held in 2019, with the 2023 show as the seventh edition. It was supposed to take place in 2020 but was canceled amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pre-lineup tickets are already sold out, but two-day passes for regular wanderers start at P7,000 for early entry and P8,500 for standard price, while star wanderer (VIP) passes start at P15,000. For groups of five, there are regular wander buddies tickets available starting at P35,000 and star wander buddies at P60,000.
