Hilda Koronel's comeback film Sisa is set to arrive in theaters on March 4.

The IdeaFirst Company released a trailer for the upcoming film by Jun Robles Lana on Jan. 4.

"Hindi mo laam kung ano ang kayang gawin ng isang babae," the caption read.

The teaser first showed a woman with disheveled hair, who said she did not know her name.

"Another lunatic thanks to this war," a soldier is heard saying.

In the next clips, it's shown that the woman is in a town likened to a concentration camp. "We're outside the garrison, but we're still prisoners," a character said.

According to the synopsis, Sisa takes place in 1902 after the Philippine-American War, in which widows fill the villages. Among them is Sisa (Koronel), who's "dismissed as mad by those who fear what they don't understand."

"But madness is only the surface," it read.

The film, which premiered in November 2025 at the 29th Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia, also stars Eugene Domingo, Jennica Garcia, Tanya Gomez, Angellie Sanoy, Barbara Miguel, Jorrybell Agoto, and Janina Mendoza.

Furthermore, it marks Koronel's return to the silver screen after a decade-long hiatus.

The IdeaFirst Company previously said that Lana especially crafted Sisa for Koronel, 67.

In an Instagram post after wrapping the shoot for Sisa, Lana described the experience as "demanding."

"We had days of triumph, and days that tested our limits. It was a demanding shoot, no denying that. But it revealed the true mettle of those around me. Their passion, their unwavering drive to tell this story, became my guiding light when I felt lost," he wrote.

Moreover, according to Lana, sets were built from scratch for the historical drama.

She last appeared on film in The Mistress alongside John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo.
