Andi Eigenmann’s sister Stevie came to the actress’ defense after Albie Casiño claimed that she never apologized to him for involving his name in her pregnancy in 2011.

In 2011, Casiño’s budding showbiz career was derailed after he denied being the father of Eigenmann’s daughter Ellie. However, it was revealed in 2016 that the father of the actress’ child turned out to be Jake Ejercito.

Stevie posted a screenshot on Oct. 30 of Eigenmann and Casiño’s exchange in September 2020, where it showed the former extending an apology. "just incase you missed it, i made my own 48 hour option” Stevie wrote alongside the screenshot.

It can be seen on the screenshot that Eigenmann apologized to Casiño for “all the volatility I may have caused in the past” and for “dragging you into something you were never supposed to be a part of.”

“I sincerely hope that you too, are in a good place right now, and that you and your family are well and great. Hope that we can put that behind us now. All the best to you,” Eigenmann added.

In response, Casiño stressed he “never really needed” an apology from Eigenmann. He said that being unable to “laugh at our past hardships in life” makes you a “slave to the moment still.”

The actor also said he has “no hard feelings” and even congratulated Eigenmann on the pregnancy.

Casiño told fans in a Kumu livestream before entering the Pinoy Big Brother house that he wanted Eigenmann to publicly apologize for involving his name in her first pregnancy. However, he decided not to say it anymore, noting that she would not do it.

Eigenmann is currently based in Siargao with her fiancé and celebrity surfer Philmar Alipayo with their children Lilo and Koa. The actress has been co-parenting Ellie with Ejercito.
