The Prince of Tennis drops cool poster for new OVA
Action-packed sports anime and manga The Prince of Tennis might have ended years ago but thanks to a slew of OVA specials over the last few years, the franchise is experiencing a fresh revival, much to the delight of young and old fans alike.
Next year, followers of the franchise will be treated to a new OVA special titled The Prince of Tennis: Hyotei vs Rikkai Game of Future. The much-awaited anime will delve on the epic match between two powerhouse schools: Hyotei Academy and Rikkai Dai Fuzoko Chuu.
This OVA will mark the first time that these two schools compete, and to drum up further excitement, the official Twitter account for the upcoming OVA released a cool poster featuring the central characters that will give new life to the red-hot sporting rivalry.

Series creator Takeshi Konomi will be overseeing the match making of the game itself, so it is still unclear as to where this new OVA special will take place in The Prince of Tennis' timeline.
Watch out for The Prince of Tennis: Hyotei vs Rikkai Game of Future that will be released in Japan in two parts across February and March 2021.
