The cat's out of the bag! Apple gave fans a glimpse into its newest products: the Apple Watch Series 8, AirPods Pro 2, and the iPhone 14 Series.

The new products were launched on Sept. 7 (Sept. 8, Philippine time) during the tech giant's Far Out event in Cupertino, California.

Aside from the much-anticipated iPhone, here's a closer look at the other new releases from the tech giant.

Apple Watch Series 8, Watch SE 2, Watch Ultra

Apple introduced three smartwatches for different users with different budgets: the Watch Series 8, Watch SE 2, and Watch Ultra.

The Apple Watch Series 8 touts new health features such as a temperature sensor, advanced cycle tracking, and crash detection.

Through the Health app, users will be able to see temperature trends tracked overnight, every five minutes. Meanwhile, crash detection will automatically call for help and tell your emergency contacts your location when you get into an accident.

Design-wise, the Apple Watch Series 8 looks a lot like the Series 7 model—it has a curved edge-to-edge display, but the screen is slightly bigger. It comes in four colors of midnight, starlight, silver, and product RED. Prices start at $399 (around P23,000)

Similarly, the second generation Watch SE will have the crash detection feature on the Series 8. Although it doesn't come with an ECG or edge-to-edge screen, this budget version comes with a Retina OLED display, optical heart rate sensor, fall detection, and emergency SOS.

The Watch SE will be available in silver, midnight, and starlight for $299 (around P17,000)

For more active users, Apple has the Watch Ultra, the most rugged of the three smartwatches. This iteration boasts a bigger 49, as well as buttons and crowns designed to work with gloves. Its battery life is longer as well at up to 60 hours when in low power mode.

To serve outdoor enthusiasts, the Watch Ultra has improved multi-band GPS, including the new L5 frequency seen on fitness watches like Garmin and Coros. For use under the sun, the smartwatch's Retina display outs up to 2,000 nits—two times brighter than any Apple Watch display currently.

The Ultra Watch bands come in Alpine, Ocean, and Trail designed with runners and athletes in mind. Prices for the rugged wearable start at $799 (around P46,000).

AirPods Pro 2

A new AirPods Pro was also announced during the event, which sports a similar look to the first iteration of the device. Some features from the OG pro device will be seen on the second generation, such as Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode, and Spatial Audio. However, there'll be new functions thanks to the new H2 chip.

The new wireless headphones now come with Personalized Spatial Audio, promising a more immersive listening experience based on the size and shape of your head and ears. This feature works together with the iPhone's TrueDepth camera to create personal listening profiles.

To control media playback and change the volume, users can now simply swipe on the earbud's stem's Touch Control sensors.

In addition, the new charging case is now sweat- and water-resistant and can even be powered up with the Apple Watch charger.

The second-generation AirPods Pro is available for $249 (around P14,000).
