Social media users are speculating that Maja Salvador is making an appearance in an episode of Korean thriller Gyeongseong Creature after Netflix posted some photos of her wearing a prisoner's uniform similar to the ones shown in the series.

Netflix Philippines dropped the now-viral snaps on their social media pages on Tuesday, Jan. 3. “This patient at Onseong Hospital really said 'Wag ako!' Makakalabas kaya siya?” the caption read. “Hindi magpapatalo si Park Seo-jun at Han So-hee sa Gyeongseong Creature! Abangan bukas.”

Maja also reshared the post on her Instagram stories as well as screenshots of messages from her followers who are excited about her possible appearance in the series.

She also shared her conversation with her friend who asked her about the project, to which she responded, “[A]bangan mo kung ililigtas ako ng PSJ (Park Seo-joon) ko.”

Other social media users, meanwhile, are thinking it could be another kind of promotion for the thriller, like Rufa Mae Quinto’s parody of Kill Boksoon that was released in April.

“Wala si Maja sa Gyeongseong Creature!! Pinas equivalent na promotion yan para sa Part 2. Parang si Kokey lng nung prinomote yung Rebel Moon. Ganon lang 'yan,” a Facebook user commented.

In December, the actress made the rounds on social media after posing for a group photo with the show's lead stars, Park Seo-jun and Han So-hee, during its premiere in Thailand.

Gyeongseong Creature follows the story of two young adult characters who are on a mission to survive and fight a “monster born of human greed,” set in the city of Gyeongseong (former name of Seoul) in the spring of 1945 when the Japanese ruled over Korea.

Joining Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee in the cast are Claudia Kim, Wi Ha-Jun, Jo Han-chul, and Kim Hae-sook, among others. Its second part will premiere on Friday, Jan. 5.
