Paddles up! FRIDAY Pickleball is now available in the Philippines
If there’s one sport Filipinos can’t seem to get enough of lately, it’s pickleball. For those looking to step up their game, a popular pickleball brand from the US has now made its way to the Philippines.
FRIDAY Pickleball officially made its debut at the Toby’s Sports Flagship Store in Bonifacio Global City on May 16.
Built around the idea that pickleball should be "fun, social, and accessible," the brand prides itself on its lineup of performance paddles that are "built to deliver a balance of power, control, and playability for players of all levels."
Among their most notable gear is the Aura and Aura Pro paddles, two Gen 4 full-foam paddles built around their ElasTech system.
The Aura paddle, priced at P9,595, is an "all-court option" that is "soft, forgiving, and made for touch, resets, and shaping the ball with confidence," while the Aura Pro is "built to drive hard, counter fast, and finish points" and is priced at P11,695.
During the launch, FRIDAY Pickleball co-founder Jake Triplett highlighted how the Philippines has "one of the most exciting pickleball communities right now."
"The energy, passion, and openness to the sport really matches what FRIDAY is all about. We’re excited to finally bring the brand to Manila and connect with the community in person," he said.
Apart from their paddles, the brand also offers shoes, accessories, and equipment bags that start at P6,995.
FRIDAY Pickleball is now available in select Toby’s Sports stores and channels.
