Khalil Ramos to debut in his first theater role on 'Tick, Tick…Boom!’
Khalil Ramos is making a major leap in his career after being named a cast member of the upcoming Philippine production of Tick, Tick…Boom!.
In a teaser video released by 9 Works Theatrical on Friday, the cast members were singing to Louder Than Words one by one, ending with Khalil.
The 2 cool to be forgotten star is set to play Jon on stage, while Jef Flores reprises the same role.
Tanya Manalang will play the role of Susan after Kayla Rivera, while Reb Atadero and Vien King will cast the character of Michael.
Several celebrities and friends expressed their support including Khalil's girlfriend Gabbi Garcia.
"Full support my love!!!!!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰," Gabbi wrote on Khalil's IG post.
Tick, Tick... Boom! is set to stage at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium of RCBC Plaza in August.
Tick, Tick…Boom! was first staged in the country in 2016. The musical was created by Jonathan Larson and tells the story of Jon who is torn between pursuing his dream as a theater artist or opting for a different career behind the curtains.

Khalil, meanwhile, is known for his other castings for Love You, Stranger (2022), LSS (2019), and more.
