Made with love: Tom Daley launches kits for knitting beginners
Olympic diver Tom Daley is taking his knitting to a new level.
After enthralling the world with his hobby during the Tokyo Olympics, the gold medalist launched Made With Love by Tom Daley, his own line of knit kits.
"As a lot of you might know by now, I am completely knitting obsessed," he said in an Instagram video. "From calming the minds to a new hobby, there's something in knitting for everyone."
"I've created these kits to help encourage people to pick up knitting, pick up your needles, learn the basics, have fun, and fall in love with it, all at the same time."
The kits—which let you create winter warmer hats, blankets, cardigans, sweaters, Christmas stockings, and scarves—range from £35 to £145 (P2,300~ to P9,700). It contains balls of yarn, knitting needles, darning needles, and a pattern.
After winning gold in the men's 10m platform in the summer, Daley went viral online when he was spotted knitting in the stands at another Olympic event.
The Olympian first picked up the hobby in March 2020 and started a business venture inspired by it 18 months later.
