The enhanced version of former PlayStation-exclusive Final Fantasy VII Remake is coming to PC.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will be available on the Epic Games Store starting Thursday, Dec. 16. The PC release was announced during The Game Awards last Thursday (Dec. 9).

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is an enhanced version of Final Fantasy VII Remake, the 2020 remake of the PlayStation classic first released in 1997.

The first title in a mutli-part series, Final Fantasy VII Remake takes place entirely in the Midgar portion of the original.

Players take control of Cloud Strife, an ex-SOLDIER operative, who descends on the mako-powered city of Midgar. Remake is is based on the story from the original game, up to the escape from Midgar, adding in new elements and a significant amount of content to turn it into a full-fledged RPG.

Intergrade, which came out on the PS4 this year, upgrades the graphics, adds a number of quality of life features, has multiple new combat and gameplay additions, and includes a new chapter starring Yuffie Kisaragi called INTERmission

In the brand-new adventure, players can play as Wutaian ninja Yuffie Kisaragi as she infiltrates Midgar and conspires with Avalanche HQ to steal the ultimate materia from the Shinra Electric Power Company.

Aside from the base game and Intermission episode, additional weapons, armor, accessories and summon materia (namely Carbuncle, Chocobo Chick and Cactuar) will be obtainable from the Gift Box on the main menu on the Epic Games Store.

No release date has been set for the continuation of Remake, but it looks like both PlayStation console and PC players will be able to enjoy the world of Midgar in the future.

The PC version of Final Fantasy VII Remake will be available on the Epic Games Store on Dec. 16.
