Weekend Watchlist: What to watch this Chinese New Year and Valentine's weekend
This coming weekend marks two auspicious events: The Lunar New Year, the festival that celebrates the beginning of a new year on the traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar, and Valentine's Day, typically linked to the public display of romance and love in many regions of the world.
While festivities may be muted due to the ongoing pandemic and romantic movie dates in theaters are still restricted in the metro, you can still enjoy family bonding and dates at home by getting special themed food delivered and catching up on your favorite rom-coms, movies, or K-drama series from streaming sites.
Not a fan of love stories? You can still enjoy some good old-fashioned demon-hunting shows or crime thrillers like The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel.
