Triangle of Sadness, the Palme d'Or winning film at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, is set to hit Philippine theaters through exclusive distributor TBA Studios.

Directed by Swedish filmmaker Ruben Östlund, the film is a satirical piece following fashion model couple Carl and Yaya as they embark on a luxury cruise. Everything appears Instagrammable at first, but a storm starts brewing and the couple ends up stranded on a desert island with a group of billionaires and a cleaning lady. Old hierarchies are turned upside down as the only one with the know-how on survival is the cleaning lady.

The film also stars Harris Dickinson, Charlbi Dean, Woody Harrelson, Henrik Dorsin, Zlatko Buric, Iris Berben, Sunnyi Melles, Vicky Berlin, and Oliver Ford Davies.

TBA Studios have yet to announce the film's release date in the Philippines.
