Here’s something anime fans and tech geeks will want to get their hands on. Anker recently unveiled a line-up of Doraemon-themed charging accessories, including dual-mode chargers, data cables, wireless chargers, chargers and other accessories, that target the iPhone 12 series.

Each electric blue and white accessory features an image of Doraemon, the time-travelling robot cat from the Japanese manga and anime series, who’s considered one of Japan’s most popular cultural icons.

According to specs shared by Chinese tech supply website Chiongdiantou, the Anker Doraemon PowerCore Fusion 5K Two-in-One Charger is powered with a built-in lithium battery capacity of 4,850mAh, which can be used either as a charger or a power bank. It comes with two output ports, USB -A and USB-C, and supports a maximum 18W fast charge output.

Other products include Doraemon USB-C data cables, a Doraemon PowerPort 65W Pod Lite Charger and Anker Doraemon wireless charger featuring a panel printed with Doraemon wearing a take-copter.

Pre-sale on the Doraemon-themed charging accessories started last Nov. 4 in China. Items can be purchased through the official Anker store, Jingdong and Tmall.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi has launched power banks and other accessories from headphones to suitcases, featuring Pikachu, the bright yellow electric-type mouse from the Pokémon series, another internationally recognized Japanese cultural icon.

China Gadgets shared that Xiaomi released a lineup of five products, including Mi Air 2s TWS Earbuds, a 10L Backpack, a photo printer, a suitcase, and the 10,000mAh Mi Powerbank 3.

It just makes sense to power up gadgets with an electric-type Pokémon. Xiaomi's Pikachu edition Powerbank 3 is completely yellow and on the front and features the adorable red-cheeked face of Pikachu. The Powerbank has a battery capacity of 10,000 mAh and 18 W charging.

Other products include Xiaomi Air 2s headphones, which are now completely wrapped in yellow and have a Pikachu on the cargo cover, a Xiaomi Mi Pocket Photo Printer and a Xiaomi 10L backpack and suitcase, which sport the bright yellow color and feature the famous mascot of the Pokémon franchise.

Xiaomi's special Pikachu Editions are currently exclusive to China as well, so Pokémon fans in the Philippines will have to wait and see if they decide to roll these out to other markets.
