Attention, bibliophiles: This bookstore has a new club where you can review fresh titles before they hit shelves
Ah, that "I read that book first" feeling. Every bookworm knows the rush that comes with finishing a book that no one else has read just yet. The anticipation as you wait for others to reach the climax, twist, and eventual lessons is something that can't be explained with words.
If you found yourself nodding to that, then this news is for you: Fully Booked is introducing the First Look Club, its exclusive group of bookworms who will get first dibs on the bookstore's latest titles and have the chance to review them before they hit the shelves.
Members of the club will be given books based on their preferred genre. From there, they're given 15 days to finish reading the book and send in their review to be posted on fullybooked.com.
Reviewers will need to send in six 500-700 word reviews in a year. While it won't be a paid service, it serves as the perfect opportunity for budding writers to get their work out there, while nabbing early access to interesting reads at the same time.
Interested reviewers can apply here. They will need to provide their top three preferred genres, top three recommended books, and a 100-word sample review. The deadline for entries is on August 31, 2022.
Once you're accepted, Fully Booked will be giving 12 free physical Advanced Reading Copies of the reads assigned to them. Members of the club will also receive special perks such as the chance to meet their favorite authors during the store's events.
