LOOK: Samsung unveils new watch and earbuds that can check your health and translate foreign languages
On the hunt for new gadgets and accessories to enhance your day-to-day activities? Samsung may be able to help you out as they have just unveiled their newest watch and earbuds models that boast features powered by AI.
The new wearables were announced along with the tech giant's latest smartphone invention—the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6—during the Galaxy Unpacked in Paris.
Here's what to know about their features:
Galaxy Watch series
Dubbed the Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra, the new additions expand the power of Samsung's AI feature to give you accurate, detailed, and advanced information on your personal health.
Through the Workout Routine feature, the Galaxy Watch7 is capable of tracking over 100 workouts and building routines by combining various exercises to achieve your goals.
You can also use it to compare current and past performance in real-time to track progress as well as receive a complete body and fitness snapshot for a comprehensive understanding of your body.
For those who are suffering from sleep disorders, you'd be pleased to know that the new model boasts the De Novo FDA-authorized Sleep Apnea feature, which checks potential signs of sleep apnea.
Those who have problems with their heart can meanwhile use the Heart Rate monitoring tool for alerts on abnormally high or low heart rates and the Electrocardiogram and Blood Pressure monitoring tools for a deeper understanding of your heart health.
These advanced monitoring capabilities are made possible through Galaxy Watch7's BioActive Sensor which offers increased accuracy on your readings. The watch also has a first-of-its-kind Dual-frequency GPS system, which can more precisely track location even in dense urban environments.
It will be available in two sizes: 40mm, which comes in green and cream colors, and 44mm, which is available in green and silver.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch Ultra improves on the Watch7 by having a new cushion design that enhances protection and visual completeness. It is built with a Titanium Grade 4 frame and 10ATM water resistance that allows for extreme durability.
Through the watch, you can track multi-course workouts for a triathlon from swimming to cycling to running, and it allows you to exercise at optimal intensity levels based on your physical capabilities.
If you're concerned about its battery life, then fret not as the model is touted to have the "longest battery life within the Galaxy Watch line-up," offering up to 100 hours in Power Saving and 48 hours in Exercise Power Saving.
It will be available in a 47mm size in Titanium Gray, Titanium White and Titanium Silver.
Galaxy Buds3 Series
Also powered by Samsung's AI tool are the newest models for their earbuds series: the Galaxy Buds3 and the Galaxy Buds3 Pro.
The Galaxy Buds3 will be a helpful tool for those attending classes in a foreign language as the earbuds are equipped with an Interpreter that allows you to hear the lecture translated directly through the Galaxy Buds. You can turn this on in Listening mode on Galaxy Z Fold6 or Flip6.
You can also play or stop music by simply saying two words through Voice Command, and if you're outside, the Galaxy Buds3 Pro model constantly collects surrounding sound and automatically adjusts the optimal level of noise and sound without manual adjustment.
The Galaxy Buds3 and Buds3 Pro offer two purpose-built design options. Galaxy Buds3 Pro is Canal Type for those looking for immersive sound, while Buds3 is Open Type for people who prefer to use the device in a variety of situations for an extended period of time.
