Big bad budol: Big Bad Wolf is now in Lazada

Heads up bookworms, you can now nab your next reads faster. Big Bad Wolf Books (BBW) is now available in Lazada!

Months after its first online sale, the Malaysian-based book inventory can now be checked out on the e-commerce site with the promise of a faster delivery time.

"We're back in the Philippines, Wolfies," the site shared on social media. "And yes, BBW deliveries are now faster than ever dahil nasa Lazada na kami!"

Similar to Big Bad Wolf's official website, their Lazada shop offers an array of books ranging from fiction, nonfiction, children's selections, and more. As part of its welcome party, BBW is also offering huge discounts on Nov. 26 as part of its Black Friday sale with over 95% off on selected titles.

The book sale made its online debut in July of this year after a two-year hiatus amid the pandemic. It offered nationwide shipping and books for as low as P10. However, their inventory in Kuala Lumpur experienced delays in shipping, causing bookworms to ask for updates since they did not offer cash on delivery (COD).

"We hope that you’re able to understand that Big Bad Wolf Books has never faced such lengthy delays before. However, due to so many unforeseen circumstances caused by the ongoing global Pandemic, our whole supply chain and logistics management has been tremendously affected every step of the way," they shared on Facebook.

"This had resulted in a much longer processing and clearance period at the port of origin, which also affected us in missing several of our vessel’s scheduled departures." They also explained that Manila ports were experiencing a surplus of vessels at the time.
